you, your partner, and the mountains.

a wedding day you're excited to plan. An experience you'll never forget.

If you're already researching Colorado elopements, you don't need me to tell you why it's a good idea. You're like me. You love the romance and natural beauty of the mountains, and you want it to be part of your day. Lucky for you, planning epic, unforgettable adventures featuring Colorado's iconic landscapes is what I do.

Your wedding day deserves so much more than ten minute vows and a few staged photos. You deserve the kind of day that comes back to you every time you visit Colorado or walk down a trail. You deserve the kind of photos that take you back to the moment every time you look at them, even years later.  Eloping doesn't necessarily mean you have to keep things small and understated. It just means every moment of the day is intentionally and completely centered on the two of you.

You and your partner are setting off on the greatest adventure of your lives. Let's give it the once-in-a-lifetime celebration it deserves.

don't know where to start?

That's okay!

Most couples I've worked with have never hiked in wedding clothes or picked a ceremony location. Some have never been to the mountains. Some have never even been to Colorado!

You don't have to be a hardcore hiker or backpacker to have an adventure elopement. Technically, you don't even need to have hiking experience. That's where I come in. Whatever adventure you dream of for your big day, I'll help you plan it and guide you through it in a way that's safe, within your ability, and respectful to the beautiful environment around us.

more than just a photographer

Yes, we will get absolutely stunning photos- but that's the byproduct of the day, not the point of it. This is about you, as a couple, going on an unforgettable adventure that celebrates your connection while I capture every intimate moment in a way that highlights the wild freedom of eloping in the mountains.

First and foremost, I am a hiker. With years of hands-on experience navigating trails in all kinds of terrain and conditions, I’m here guide you so you have the confidence to enjoy every step of the journey, no matter which type of experience you choose.

we'll be a good fit if:
  • You'd rather watch sunrise on a mountain than get married inside
  • You care more about experience than tradition
  • You want both epic photos and meaningful moments
  • You love the idea of adventure, even if you're not hardcore hikers
  • You want a day centered on the two of you

your elopement, simplified

1. Dream

Send an inquiry - tell me your vision. Mountains, lakes, ridgelines, hopes, fears, dreams. I want to know all of it.

2. Plan

We choose the perfect spot, map your timeline, plan the hike, and figure out the logistics so your day flows effortlessly.

3. Elope

Hike, explore, say your vows, have a picnic, soak it in. I'll capture every moment without being all up in your face.

4. Relive

Your photos arrive as a cinematic story of your day, and you get to relive every moment of your adventure for years to come.

kind words from my favorite elopement of 2025:

A smiling bride in a white gown holds purple flowers while walking hand-in-hand with a groom in a tan suit in a meadow.

"We’re so happy we had Ellie capture our elopement day out in nature on a beautiful mountain pass! It just felt easy and natural having her there. She made the morning so relaxed and fun, and the photos turned out absolutely beautiful, exactly how we will remember it. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to document our wedding day!"
